Alien: Romulus (2024) · Mining hauler

Corbelan IV came next. The print files were excellent, but I realised too late that printing the model at the files’ original size would make it far too big. I had to scale it down, which cost me some time.

The print quality was very impressive. The photographs show the exposed pipework and framework, with orange tanks visible inside the grey hull.

A little background

Corbelan IV is the mining hauler used by the young crew in Alien: Romulus to travel from their colony to Renaissance Station. Its industrial form continues the Alien films’ tradition of working spacecraft, with machinery and cargo taking up much of the visible structure.
